Remote Learning: Attachment Styles workshop
The aim of the workshop is to assist practitioners in understanding and identifying the major attachment styles as they present in adults. Furthermore, the workshop will explore how these attachment styles have been appropriated by the adult personality over time and how they then inform interpersonal dynamics. The workshop will also focus on the hidden aspects of attachment dynamics that nonetheless exert influence over the adult personality and how it designs relationships, sometimes creating disturbance and/or protest strategies. The workshop will address the key therapeutic issues involved in working with attachment such as specific transferences and the core need to recognise safety strategies in play.
Delivered by Dr. Kevin Fehin who is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Among other qualifications he holds a Masters in Psychoanalytic Studies. The course will allow you to interact with the trainer and other participants. In addition to the workshop content, there will be time built in for live discussions, questions and answers.
This programme is open to individuals and can also be delivered as in-house training to groups of employees.
