Ciara Moran
Ciara Moran is an accredited psychotherapist working in both Private Practice and in Educational settings. Ciara facilitates weekly DBT skills groups and works individually with clients as part of a DBT team of therapists. Ciara lectures on the BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy at PCI college. She also works in a secondary school setting supporting the students’ mental health and wellbeing.
Ciara has experience working in crisis Mental Health Services. Specifically in the areas of self-harm and suicide intervention.
Currently her work is mainly focused on working with clients struggling with BPD, Emotional Dysregulation and Complex Trauma. Drawing upon a broad range of therapeutic training in her work, enabling her to develop an integrative style of working to help a wide range of clients
Ciara holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a PG cert in Mediation and Conflict resolution. She has also trained in CBT, DBT and Mindfulness.
Ciara has blended her background in performance and her expertise in well-being with creative endeavours. From co-founding 'Skoolbox,' an interactive learning platform, to choreographing for national campaigns and TV shows, addressing the importance of exercise on mental health on national television.
