Edel Quinn

Edel currently works as a Learning & Development Specialist within St James’s hospital. A psychotherapist and Executive Coach with a wealth of experience and qualifications, she has a unique combination of business and people skills.

In 2005, a keen interest in people development led her to change careers from IT programme management to learning and development. Since that period, she has worked in a wide range of sectors from a leading-edge US technology company, Ireland’s largest global university to NGO organizations specialising in social exclusion and addiction. Her deep passion is rooted in supporting people to be more effective and happier in their professional and personal life. She achieves this though the delivery of best in class facilitated learning experiences, engaging and transformative one to one sessions and group/team development activities.

As a psychotherapist, Edel works from the position of taking the whole person into consideration and uses a variety of approaches and skills to support individuals make positive and lasting change. She believes strongly that the coaching relationship can be a real catalyst which helps people name, access and maximize their potential according to whatever agenda is important to them. Edel holds a degree in International Marketing and Japanese, a Master’s degree in Business and an MSc in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.
